Q: What do you find challenging about flamenco?

A: When I first started learning Flamenco Dance coordination was my challenge. Now after 4 years, I finally feel like I get the left foot, right arm, angled torso, etc. My current challenge is pulling out the steps I have learned and have them flow with the music. There are some moments when I get it, but I'm still working on it.

Q: What do you like about Mozaico Flamenco Dance Academy?

A: I like that the teachers are focused not only on teaching choreography and technique, but that they also want their students to understand the entrie art form of Flamenco. I got hooked on Kasandra's classes when I started with her Bulerias Masterclass, and found that I was learning to think and dance for myself. There is a certain satisfaction to this independence that cannot compare to memorizing and executing choreography.
