Q: What first drew you to flamenco?

A: All through my life, guitars have fascinated me. I was 15 or 16 years old when I first watched the music video of Gipsy Kings, playing Djobi Djoba song. Right there and then I fell in love with the music. I remember saying "I wanna do that!". I started to listen to various flamenco artists, mainly Paco de Lucia. The more I listened, the more I liked it.

I bought a guitar, but couldn't seriously dedicate myself to practicing and playing, mainly because of lack of teacher and other activities in my life. It has been a long journey from the first moment till two years ago, when I seriously dedicated myself to the art. The beauty is that it'll never end. The more I learn, I realize how much I don't know!

Q: What do you like about Mozaico Flamenco Dance Academy?

A: Two huge dance studios, and two excellent teachers, with hearts much larger than studios!
