Q: What first drew you to flamenco?

A: The music drew me in first. The challenge of the dance keeps me in it. Flamenco has become the central form or artistic expression for me in my life. It is the melding of the various aspects of the dance that make flamenco a creative challenge --- ear training, the physicality of the dance itself and learning to project that quintessential flamenco "attitude".

Q: What do you like about Mozaico Flamenco?

A: I take classes with both Oscar and Kasandra. They compliment each other perfectly in their distinct teaching styles. Oscar offers the vast wealth of his years of flamenco training with patience and encouragement like "Don't worry, it'll come!". Kasandra is a veritable powerhouse who teaches her students technical precision and mastery. She pushes her students because she always knows when we can do better. Both Oscar and Kasandra want their students to reach their full potential. I am here because I am serious about flamenco dancing.
