Q: What first drew you to flamenco?

A: The music! After years of playing Spanish music, and watching flamenco troupes that we have accompanied, I developed a real desire to learn how to dance to it. The clincher was seeing the flamenco movies of Carlos Saura, and Christina Hoyes' gorgeous floreos.

 

Q: What do you like about Mozaico Flamenco?

A: I like the precision of the teaching and the tie-in to the music. Without understanding the musical structure, you cannot comprehend how to dance.
I really appreciate that side of the instruction.
