Estilo de Mujer (Advanced): Kasandra

Thursday 6:00 - 7:30pm

This class introduces and analyses flamenco dance styles for women, intended for upper intermediate and advanced students with a strong flamenco foundation. The class focuses on styles of marcaje (marking steps) that involve hips, torso, spine and arm movements. Estilo or style may include traditional, contemporary and gypsy styles of dance. The class also focuses on strengthening zapteado (footwork), vueltas (turns) and improvement in overall technique.
