Q: What first drew you to flamenco?
A: In my childhood, I watched old Spanish movies and saw flamenco dancers perform gracefully.
I thought someday I would learn to dance as gracefully as them. There are so many emotions that can be expressed in flamenco. That makes it such a beautiful art form.

Q: What do you like about Mozaico Flamenco Dance Academy?
A: At Al Mozaico Flamenco Dance Academy, the teachers (Oscar and Kasandra) are very professional, patient, fun and encouraging. Most importantly, they want students to understand the rhythms and art form of flamenco. Through their style of teaching, I have learned that listening to the rhythms and songs are as important as learning the different dance techniques, and how the different components work together. I find this very challenging since I am not only learning choreography but also applying what I have learned by improvising.
