Maestra Kasandra back to work on Wednesday May 17 - Transitions
Dear Students at AMFDA:
I am ready to get back to the studio after a long 3 months
in Spain. In
retrospect, 3 months is not a long time to spend in Spain
while taking classes but it seems like a very long time to
be away from my wonderful students and my nice, big, clean
studio. I am really looking forward to seeing friendly smiling
faces again! Hope to see you this week!
1. Kasandra is back to the studio on Wednesday May 17th.
She will teach
Wednesday and Thursday classes as usual.
2. Oscar Nieto and Shyiang Strong will continue to teach
classes the long weekend, May 20, 21, 22 to finish off the
class choreographies, as some of these classes will perform
for El Jaleo on May 28th. Kasandra will resume teaching these
classes on May 27th and thereafter.
3. All Kasandra's classes will continue during the summer.
4. For the students with "Kasandra 10 Class Cards",
these cards will be honored by Kasandra and can be used for
any of Kasandra's classes during the week. In the future,
all class cards may be purchased by cash or cheque. Cheques
are to be made to Al Mozaico Flamenco Dance Academy.
5. For the students with "AMFDA (Shyiang) 10 Class Cards",
these cards will be honored by Kasandra and can be used for
any of Kasandra's classes during the week.
6. For the students with "Oscar 8 or 10 Class Cards",
you must complete your class cards with Oscar Nieto. The cards
can be used for any of Oscar's classes during the week.
7. BATA DE COLA - For those who wish to study bata de cola,
please email or call me to confirm your interest in an on-going
course. I hope to teach a regular class that is committed
to studying bata de cola starting July 2006, however I am
unsure if there is enough interest for an on-going course
versus a summer workshop or intermittent workshop. If you
want it, SAY SO NOW! If you do not have a bata de cola, I
can provide information on bata de cola's from Maty in Madrid.
They can custom make bata de colas in 48 hours if you can
provide your measurements.
