This cante workshop is open to all levels. No experience is necessary.
The main focus of the workshop is to gain a basic understanding of the fundamentals of flamenco dance and how it relates to the dance and music. The workshop will include the study of palmas and how to accompany the dancer, guitarist and singer.
Date: Sundays - April 6, 13, 20, 27
Palos: Fandangos, Solea and Garrotin.
Time: 2:00 - 3:30pm
Venue: La Casa de Oscar Nieto, 1807 E. 11th Ave
(between Commercial & Victoria)
Cost: $110 for 4 Sundays, $35 drop in (includes GST & print material)
