Al Mozaico Flamenco Dance Academy presents our annual year end recital "Fin del Año - Fiesta Flamenca!" at the Norman Rothstein Theatre on Sunday December 14, 2008 at 7:30pm.
Join us for a night of flamenco fiesta, fire and fun, as we present dancers of Al Mozaico Flamenco Dance Academy. From our youngest dancer at age 3 to our advanced adult class, experience a little of Spain as we take you on an Andalucian journey to Seville, Huelva, Jerez de la Frontera & Cordoba, while we perform regional folk dances, classico español and fiery gypsy flamenco.
This show is dedicated to our Maestro Oscar Nieto, as we wish him a speedy recovery from his operation! Thank you to all who have kept him in their thoughts and prayers.
Our professional musical cast includes Pirouz del Caspio (cante), La Sirena (cante) and Juan de Marias (guitar & cante). Ole!
Cameo appearance by Mozaico Flamenco Dance Theatre who will pay tribute to the late Lola Montes by performing "La Boda de Luis Alonso", a choreography recreated 6 years ago by Oscar Nieto for our dance company.
