Dear Mozaico Flamenco Students,
Time to order bata de colas again! A number of students have expressed interest in purchasing a Bata de Cola skirt for our
Wednesday Bata de Cola class. For those of you unfamiliar with bata de cola, this is the skirt with long train with multiple ruffles.
In 2006, Kasandra La China was the recipient of the Canada Council study grant to study bata de cola with the famed Matilde Coral.
In 2009, Andrea Williams also trained in Seville with young contemporary bata de cola expert, Angeles Gabaldon. Therefore, we are very keen on bata de cola program and hope that you are inspired to learn this art form!
ORDER
1. Collect your measurements and fill out this form.
2. Our standard bata de cola is black with a coloured trim: yellow, white, red, green, blue, purple, pink.
3. Single orders start at $460 plus shipping (approx $40 from Ontario). If there are more than 3 bata orders from Al Mozaico Flamenco Dance Academy, she will give a discounted rate $420 plus shipping. Deposit $220 required, $200 due upon receipt.
4. All cheques go to Rita Benz.
5. Please coordinate with Kasandra regarding group order.
