Mozaico Flamenco Dance Theatre opens Vancouver's 7th Annual Jondo Flamenco Festival 2011 in "Las Perlas del Pacifico". In this program, we will showcase three numbers from our Cafe de Chinitas "Vinetas del Mozaico" series and perform live cuadro with musicians, Jafelin Helten (singer), Pirouz de Caspio (singer) and guitar phenom Gareth Owen (guitar).
"We are excited to be part of the Jondo Flamenco Festival and have the opportunity to work with Gareth Owen," says Kasandra "La China", artistic director of Cafe de Chinitas.
Oscar Nieto, artistic director of Mozaico Flamenco Dance Theatre, will narrate and sing traditional songs from Cafe de Chinitas. Dance solos by Kasandra "La China", Michelle Harding and Andrea Williams.
