Al Mozaico Flamenco Dance Academy begins a new fall term on Wednesday September 7th. Check out our new schedule! In addition to our regular 90 minute technique, choreography and por fiesta classes, we are adding 60 minute classes including:
Introduction to Flamenco
Beginner Style with Skirt
Tangos Technique & Styling
Footwork Bootcamp
As Al Mozaico Flamenco Dance Academy is especially strong in teaching integrated flamenco-music-dance-culture, we are also adding 60 minute appendix workshops to aid students in learning more about how the dance interacts with the cante and guitar:
Introduction to Bulerias
Introduction to Tangos
Introduction to 12 compas
Bulerias Cuadro - Palmas, soniquete, jaleo, cante, circletime
Tangos Cuadro
And More...
Level 1 Introduction to playing castanets
Level 2 Playing Castanets
And 60 min daytime classes on Mondays for 4 weeks:
11am Estilo de Mujer
12pm Tangos por Fiesta
1pm Footwork Bootcamp
All students may continue to use their existing class cards for all these classes. The 90 minute class card system will simply convert to 60 minutes:
8 class card over 10 week period = 12 hours
28 class card over 16 week period = 42 hours
There is no price difference and simply allows 60 minute workshops and classes to be included on the "menu"!
