El Jaleo In-Studio Performance
Al Mozaico Flamenco Dance Academy
Friday August 12 from 8:00-10:00pm

"El Jaleo" is a quarterly in-studio performance, where our students bust their chops to show off to friends, family and the flamenco community. It is a "work-in-progress" which allows the students the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience and get immediate feedback. The show will be accompanied by Vancouver professionals including Oscar Nieto, Kasandra and Peter Mole, flamenco guitarist. Admission is by donation. Be there or be a ballerina!

Kino Fiesta at the Kino Café
Mozaico Flamenco with Luis Guitierrez & Peter Mole

All students are encouraged to join in the Kino Fiesta for an impromptu, improvisational evening of dance and song over Spanish tapas and sangria. Admission is free but tables must purchase food/drink and make sure you bring tips for the performers' infamous basket! Suggested donation: $5-$20 per person. The Kino Café is the only flamenco tablao in Vancouver, located at 3456 Cambie Street and 18th. Make your reservations now at 604-875-1998.
