Note to Al Mozaico Flamenco Dance Academy Students:

The new term starts on Tuesday, September 6th and goes to December 11th, 2005. Our Annual Flamenco Christmas Recital 2005 will take place on Monday December 12, 7:30pm. Most classes will be choreographed for this event and students will get dressed in full costume. This year we will be at the state-of-the-art Michael J. Fox Theatre in Burnaby (7373 Macpherson Avenue). Please book off this day! Tickets will be available in the fall at $22.75. Price includes venue improvement fee and GST.

There are a few changes to the schedule as follows:

1. Oscar is starting a Beginner Tangos Por Fiesta Masterclass on Monday 6:00-7:30pm for introduction & beginner students. For those of you who are not familiar with the term, Masterclass, it is class that integrates dance with music, palmas, cante (song) and guitar. Students will learn how to dance improvisationally.
   
2. Kasandra's Bulerias Masterclass is moving to Saturday 10:30am-12:00pm. It is a first level bulerias class for those who have some exposure to 12 compas but who have not necessarily studied bulerias as a song form.
   
3. Kasandra's Intermediate 1 class on Monday 6:00-7:30pm will now be a NEW technique and choreography class. Good time to start in September.
   
4. Cyrena will be teaching one Children's Class on Saturday 11:30am-12:30pm. The Thursday Children’s class has been cancelled and will be merged with Saturday.
   
5. Kasandra's Intermediate 2 on Wednesday 7:30-9:00pm class is doing Tangos Choreography by popular demand.
