Learn
to dance tangos por fiesta! This class is for introduction
and beginner students of flamenco. No previous experience
dancing is required. The objective is to understand the rhythm/
music/structure, dance in compas (in time) and improvise using
simple steps. This is an integrated music, theory and dance
class. CDs and live musicians will be used in classes. Students
will also learn to participate in other ways besides dancing.
They will do palmas (hand-clapping) and jaleo (shouts of encouragement).
