Format: Get a great 60 minute workout and study Solea, the
mother of all flamenco songs. Dancers will learn marking to
12, upper body, torso, overall coordination.

Format: Footwork bootcamp workout and study various Bulerias
6 steps. Short bulerias choreography to a letra and
analysis of how to rematar to the cante
(remates/llamadas).

INTRODUCTION TO BULERIAS TUTORIALS

Format: Whether you're a dancer, musician or aficionado, this
tutorial will give you the confidence to join in the por
fiesta circle. Learn the rhythmic layers of Bulerias de
Jerez, accompany the guitar and cante with palmas and
jaleo. Listen to flamenco cante and musica phrasing.
Know where to dance marcaje, remates or llamadas within
the cante.

between the dance, guitar, cante and palmas.
In this course, you will dance your tangos solo to live musicians while also learning to sing tangos coletillas, palmas & jaleo to accompany the dancer.

In this course, you will dance your bulerias solo to live musicians while also learning to sing bulerias letras & coletillas, palmas & jaleo to accompany the dancer. All levels welcome. We encourage multi level classes and learning.

Al Mozaico Flamenco Dance Academy is pleased to announce GUEST ARTIST workshop with international flamenco dancer, Domingo Ortega. Domingo is no stranger in the flamenco world and is renowned for his impeccable technque, modern style and musicality.
Domingo Ortega was born in 1969 in Jerez de la frontera, where he learned his first steps and started his professional career. He received the prize for the best flamenco dancer in the national competition of Ubrique and in the Cadiz province competition in 1989 and 1990.
In 1991 he became part of Carmen Cortes’ company and later on worked with other companies such as Manuel Soler. Started his solo career in 1992 dancing as a special guest start in famous tablaos like Café de Chinitas, Zambra, Casa Patas and El Cordobes. As a soloist he collaborated with companies such as Antonio Vargas, el Guito, Luís Davila (Luisillo).
In 1993 he took part in the production “Cinco Bailaores”.
In 1998 received the prize “Copa Teatro Pavon” for young performers. In 1999 he was presented by Cristina Hoyos in the Teatro Central de Sevilla as one of the most outstanding flamenco dancers in the present day.
In 2000 started showing !...y ahora me voy con mi mare" with his own company in the Nuria Espert Theatre, Fuenlabrada, (Madrid) and is internationally acclaimed as a choreographer.
